“How exciting that you are creating marvelous new mosaics to share what you have learned with future generations.”

Not limited to the Philadelphia region, NetworkArts currently has a
sister organization in Northern Ireland whose mission is to replicate
the Philadelphia model with the youth of Northern Ireland. Creating an
exchange between children of both countries, students not only share
research and designs but also create projects with common themes. A highlight
of this cultural exchange is potential exchange trips between the two
groups.
Most recently, Catholic and Protestant students worked together in Glenarm
(near Belfast) to create an art project, one in each of their schools.
Students from Seaview Primary and Glenarm Primary joined forces to create
two mosaics on the themes of insects and oceanography. NetworkArts Northern
Ireland also recently was invited by the Queens Golden Jubilee Project
to create projects in Larne and Glenarm to document the towns’ local
history.
