NetworkArts uses mosaics as a language of learning and as a tool to help children value themselves
and their communities. First imagine in-depth educational programs that
range from hard-core science exploration and the environment to arts
and the humanities. Now imagine thousands of children taking what they
have learned and creating pieces of art that literally transform their

Founded in 1993, NetworkArts is an international non-profit
organization that provides a variety of educational
programs targeted toward potentially at-risk children, all of which
culminate in the creation of a mosaic — a physical testament to
what the students have learned. NetworkArts teams with partners,
corporate and foundation supporters, and volunteers to
inspire children to explore the world inside themselves and around them — and
then pass that knowledge on to their communities through their artwork.
By providing students with the opportunity to express themselves,
NetworkArts brings to life a world that these children might never experience.
A world that values great minds of the past, emphasizes social responsibility
to the environment, places a premium on teamwork, and instills confidence
to look toward a future of infinite learning potential.

found at the Philadelphia International Airport, Academy of Natural Sciences,
Franklin Institute, Manayunk Canal, Philadelphia
Free Library (Kensington), Philadelphia Zoo, Temple University (Ambler),
Campbell Riversharks Stadium, Camden Children’s Garden, and Camden
City Council chambers in addition to numerous schools, recreation centers,
parks, nursing homes, and community sites. NetworkArts has also worked
